What does this charge mean?

Aggravated robbery is robbery (taking property by force or fear) committed while carrying a deadly weapon, displaying an object that looks like a deadly weapon, or seriously injuring the victim. This enhanced version of robbery is charged when the robber uses or displays a gun, knife, or other weapon, or causes serious physical injury. Conviction carries 8 to 30 years in prison and fines up to $25,000.

(a) Aggravated robbery is robbery as defined in § 39-13-401: (A) A firearm or anything manifestly designed, made or adapted for the purpose of inflicting death or serious bodily injury. See Tennessee Code 39-11-106(1) Accomplished with a deadly weapon or by display of any article used or fashioned to lead the victim to reasonably believe it to be a deadly weapon; or (2) Where the victim suffers serious bodily injury. (b) Aggravated robbery is a Class B felony.
