Posting of nonsmoking areas
PENDINGUnknown
What does this charge mean?
This statute does not describe an offense; it requires business owners to post "No Smoking" signs at entrances to public places and workplaces where smoking is banned. The signs must be clearly visible and use either written text or the international "No Smoking" symbol (a burning cigarette in a red circle with a red line through it). Places of worship are exempt from this posting requirement.
