It is illegal to secretly spy on or watch someone when they have a reasonable expectation of privacy (like in a bathroom or bedroom) without permission if it would embarrass an ordinary person and was done for sexual arousal. This is a Class A misdemeanor (up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and $2,500 in fines). If the victim is under 13 years old, the charge increases to a Class E felony with 1-6 years in prison. Consent is irrelevant if the victim is a minor.

It is illegal to make false reports to police about crimes or emergencies knowing the information is false, or to lie to police in response to their questions about crimes with intent to obstruct their investigation. This includes intentionally reporting false bomb, fire, or emergency threats knowing it will cause emergency response, frighten people, or close public places. Violations regarding false crime reports are Class D felonies (2-12 years and up to $5,000 in fines), while false emergency reports are Class C felonies (higher penalties).

It is illegal to alter, destroy, hide, or create fake records, documents, or physical evidence when you know an investigation or court proceeding is happening, if you intend to affect the evidence or the outcome of the case. A conviction is a Class C felony punishable by 3-15 years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines.
