It is illegal to intentionally encourage, help, or cause a child under 18 to commit a crime or act that would bring them under juvenile court jurisdiction. This includes actions like helping a child break the law, pressuring them to do so, or knowingly allowing them to spend time with people who will encourage illegal behavior. The penalty is up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and/or a fine up to $2,500.
