It is illegal to knowingly possess any image, picture, video, or material showing a minor engaged in sexual activity or simulated sexual activity that is extremely graphic. Sexual exploitation of a minor is a Class D felony punishable by 2-12 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Each separate image can result in a separate charge.
