Aggravated vehicular homicide is an intoxication-related vehicular homicide (killing while driving under the influence) where the defendant has two or more prior convictions for DUI/boating under the influence or vehicular assault, or one prior vehicular homicide conviction, or a blood alcohol level of 0.20% or higher with one prior DUI/vehicular assault conviction. Punishment ranges from 15 to 60 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines.
