Aggravated robbery is robbery (taking property by force or fear) committed while carrying a deadly weapon, displaying an object that looks like a deadly weapon, or seriously injuring the victim. This enhanced version of robbery is charged when the robber uses or displays a gun, knife, or other weapon, or causes serious physical injury.
