It is illegal to escape from prison or jail, or to escape while in a police officer's custody (such as after being handcuffed). Escaping from a facility while held for a misdemeanor is a Class A misdemeanor (up to 11 months 29 days in jail and $2,500 fine), but escaping while held for a felony is a Class E felony. Any sentence for escape must be served in addition to the original sentence.

It is illegal to enter or stay on property knowing you have no permission and when your presence will cause fear for someone's safety, or when you damage property to get in or damage things while there. This is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to 11 months 29 days in jail and a $2,500 fine. The charge is enhanced to a Class A misdemeanor (from Class B) if committed on a hospital building, school property, or state property. It becomes a Class E felony (1-6 years prison) if committed on a residential property of a law enforcement officer, military member, judge, or elected official with intent to harass them because of their status.

It is illegal to pretend to be someone else, fake being a government employee, pretend to be a law enforcement officer, or falsely claim to have a disability—all with intent to defraud or injure another person. It is also illegal to falsely claim to be a military member or veteran by wearing unearned medals or rank. Base violation is a Class B misdemeanor (up to 6 months jail, $500 fine), but can be enhanced to Class A misdemeanor for certain types of impersonation, such as pretending to be a law enforcement officer while acting like one.

It is illegal to hide from or run away from a police officer you know is trying to arrest you, or to flee in a vehicle when signaled to stop by a police officer. Evading arrest is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and a $2,500 fine, with mandatory driver's license suspension of 6 months to 2 years. This offense can be enhanced to a felony if you flee in a vehicle in dangerous circumstances or if the attempted arrest was lawful.

Driving while license cancelled, suspended or revoked – Minors – Forfeiture – Notice — Class B misdemeanor. Up to 6 months in jail and $500 fine. Penalty may be enhanced for prior offenses or aggravating factors.

Requirements for stop signs – Vehicles and streetcars must stop at stop signs – Penalty — Class C misdemeanor. Up to 30 days in jail and $50 fine. Penalty may be enhanced for prior offenses or aggravating factors.
